What are my yearly assessments and when are they due?
The Cabell's Mill Community Association current annual assessment is $114. The assessment is to be paid by February 1st of each year.  If dues are not paid on time, a late fee of 10% will be charged to resident's account.  After 2-3 reminders of lateness the board votes on sending residents to the collection department at the attorney’s office.  As soon as your account is turned over to them the debt starts to quickly multiply.  The resident is charged for these additional fees.

Property owners receive assessment statements in the mail. Questions related to assessment status should be directed to the Association. Timely payment is required for the Association to meet its obligations for servicing the community. A penalty is assessed to accounts falling delinquent after the due date in addition to interest at the prevailing annual interest rate. Please make note of the due date on your calendar.

Who do I contact regarding home improvements?
If you plan on making improvements to your home (i.e., painting, adding a deck, installing a fence, etc.), you need to submit an Approval Request Form to the ACC for project approval prior to starting the project. Include in your request a description or diagram of the changes to be made, including color and location. This is necessary to ensure that the overall appearance of the community is consistent and attractive. See Architectural Guidelines for more information.
